Visiting farmers, Company people in villages, Photographing farms, processes, harvesting, success stories, Collection centre management.
What we're looking for
Core Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Graduate or Diploma holder, preferably in Agriculture, Horticulture, Rural Development, or a related field (open to other fields if you have relevant experience).
- Language Proficiency: Strong command of the Marathi language and regional dialects to communicate comfortably with farmers.
- Tech Savviness: Familiarity with smartphone apps, GPS tracking tools, and basic digital data entry.
On-the-Field Requirements
- Mobility: Must own a two-wheeler with a valid driving license and be willing to travel extensively across villages daily.
- Local Knowledge: Deep familiarity with the local geography, village networks, and regional farming cultures.
Key Competencies
- Relationship Building: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust, rapport, and long-term relationships with rural communities and farmers.
- Basic Photography & Storytelling: A good eye for capturing clear, high-quality photos of farms, crops, and harvesting processes using a smartphone, with the ability to document simple success stories.
- Operational Management: Strong organizational skills to manage collection centres, oversee inventory, and ensure smooth daily operations and logistics.
- Physical Stamina: Comfort working outdoors in various weather conditions and traversing farm terrains.
